In geographical extent this is the smallest hundred in the county.

It is, too, the most southern division, having Burnham houndred on the north and west, the county of Middlesex on the east, and Berkshire and a portion of Surrey (from which it is separated by the Thames) on the south-west. Its southernmost point abuts Staines in the latter county . Stoke is a portion of that division of Buckinghamshire denominated the Chiltern Hundreds. The area of the hundred is 28,140 statute miles.
