The Barringtons can be traced back to Datchet, then in Buckinghamshire and now in Berkshire. Three generations are there, from Thomas Berrington I (before 1538-1603), Thomas Berrington II (c1577-c1644) to Robert Berrington/Barrington (c1643-1717).
